Gunite Pool Construction Process

The building process includes these steps:
- Mark where the underground utilities are.
- Finalize the layout and features of the pool.
- Dig out the pool and lay a stone bed to support it.
- Lay out steel and tie together per engineering to support the concrete walls and floor.
- Install conduit for lights and the underground plumbing lines.
- Shoot the gunite onto the steel to form the pool.
- Add the perimeter tile and coping.
- Install footer, if applicable.
- Add decking.
- Install pump, filtration, circulation and heating equipment.
- Install cage, if applicable.
- Apply a pool interior finish.
